Product Designer

GPTZero is one of the fastest-growing AI startups, responsible for the world’s most accurate AI detector and tools for writing feedback.\n\rAs a Product Designer , you will research with diverse users including students, educators, IT managers, journalists, and content creators.\n\rYou’ll work closely with the ML research team to understand the opportunities, capabilities, and constraints of AI, collaborating with engineers to quickly develop and release products highly valued by our users.\n\rYour work will involve designing, user testing, measuring, and iterating new products to maintain and improve GPTZero's leading position in AI detection, text analysis, and writing authenticity.\n\rYou’ll also be responsible for improving our brand, maintaining our design system, promoting human-centred design, educating team members, and elevating our design standards internally and externally.

Requirements:

At least 4 years of industry experience post-graduation. \n\rA portfolio demonstrating the full user-centred design process including research, ideation, iteration, and highly polished and usable user interfaces.\n\rAn obsessive eye for detail, balanced with speed and pragmatism, and an ability to prioritize.\n\rHonesty, humility, and a collaborative spirit with a capacity for solving complex problems with your team.\n\rA degree or training in human-computer interaction, user-centred design, or relevant practice.\n\rPrevious startup experience.\n\rA growth mindset and comfort with ambiguity in a fast-moving AI landscape.\n\r Bonus: At least one “super power” (e.g. user research, service design, brand design, design systems, product strategy, designing with data);\npassion for AI and experience designing AI products or a deep understanding of ML;\nexperience designing with data or an awareness of business impact.
