Bring your big ideas knowing you are safe to be who you are and speak up with concerns or questions and put your diverse talents and perspectives to use. **Job Summary** The Business Development/Sales Executive for Industrial Cybersecurity will have the opportunity to coordinate internal and external sales of solutions in a structured, collaborative way with Solution, Market, Regional and other Sales Leaders. **Key Responsibilities** -Support the CAMs on client engagement activities from opportunity creation to business capture -Work with Solution Growth Leadon internal sales with CAMs for new opportunities -Hand off qualified opportunities to Solution Leads for Proposal development -Engage in Account management activities to support Infrastructure Optimization opportunities (Build & maintain client relationships; develop and follow sector-led key account plans, position for qualified opportunities) -Build intimate understanding of solutions to support top of the funnel growth through prospective selling -Generate and qualify business leads for IO opportunities -Partner with account management teams to develop client strategies (segmentation, prioritization, identify key accounts, sales/GTM strategy) -Co-develop marketing strategy in collaboration with Enterprise Evolution (thought leadership, industry exp, etc.) -Accountable for client satisfaction in collaboration with CAMs, PD's and PM's -Maintain deep understanding of current and evolving Solution offerings (Solutions understanding) -For growth Solution offerings, drive solution sales across appropriate markets **Minimum Qualifications** -Typically 12-15+ years in a business/consulting environment. -Business development of 10+ years preferred -Proven track record of business development results within [insert name of] market -Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.Master's degree preferred. -Has successfully managed multiple engagements simultaneously.Contributor or leader to acquire new engagements. -Certifications related to area of expertise, where applicable preferred. **Preferred Qualifications** Leadership Competencies: -Customer focus -Drives Results -Persuades -Business Insight -Strategic Mindset -Sales and BD Acumen (Proven ability break into new accounts and expand service offerings; develop a sales lead from start to finish including opportunity development and contract negotiation; client mgmt) -Strategic development/implementation ↵ **Certifications** Certifications related to area of expertise, where applicable preferred. **Work Environment/Physical Demands** Hybrid - Black and Veatch Office 3 days per week/remote 2 days **Competencies** Action oriented Customer focus Interpersonal savvy **Salary Plan** CST: Consulting **Job Grade** 006 Black & Veatch is committed to being an employer of choice by creating a valuable work experience that keeps our people engaged, productive, safe and healthy.
