Express Employment Professionals in Woodbury, Mn is seeking a Temporary Shipping Clerk for a great company in the East Metro!

Pay: $15-18, DOE
Schedule: 8am to 5pm Monday - Friday
Assignment Length: Temporary (with potential to extend)

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk for a temporary assignment with a fast-paced and dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience with shipping software such as Starship , FedEx , UPS , and Speedy , as well as working within an ERP system to process and fulfill shipments efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately pull, pack, and verify outgoing orders for shipment
• Generate shipping labels and documents using Starship and other carrier-specific systems (FedEx, UPS, Speedy)
• Input and manage shipment details within the company's ERP system
• Weigh packages and ensure proper postage and shipping methods are selected
• Review sales orders and invoices to confirm shipment accuracy
• Prepare shipments for domestic and international delivery
• Coordinate pickup and drop-off schedules with carriers
• Maintain a clean and organized shipping area
• Communicate with internal departments to ensure timely order fulfillment

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience in a shipping/receiving or warehouse environment
• Familiarity with Starship or similar multi-carrier shipping software
• Experience working within an ERP system (such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods

Preferred:

• Experience with LTL shipments and BOL documentation
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or distribution setting
