💼 Now Hiring: Nurse Manager – Behavioral Health 💼

📍 Location: Brooklyn, NY 
🗓️ Start Date: December 8, 2025
⏳ Contract Length: Through March 7, 2026 (Contract-to-Hire Desired)
🕗 Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 40 hours/week | No RTO

 

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and clinical supervision of staff on the inpatient behavioral health unit.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state, and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with directors and interdisciplinary teams to improve quality of care.
• Monitor admissions, discharges, and ensure proper discharge planning.
• Collect and report performance data for NYSDOH, JCAHO, OMH, and other agencies.
• Support staff development, education, and best-practice implementation.
• Provide 24-hour operational leadership and administrative coverage as needed.

✅ Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) – Active New York State License
• BSN required | Master’s preferred
• BLS & ACLS required
• Crisis Management (PMCS/TRUST) certification required
• Minimum 5 years RN experience (with at least 5 years in psychiatry)
• Minimum 2 years in leadership or management role
• Active RN NY license
• Strong communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills
