RedMatter Solutions is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to manage, coordinate, and establish priorities for the complete life cycle of Information Technology projectsincluding planning, design, programming, testing, and implementation of solutions designed to meet project requirements.

The Technical Project Manager will:

• Determine project needs and acquire the resources required for project success.
• Design project plans that identify needs and define major tasks and milestones based on scope, resources, budget, and personnel.
• Utilize Agile methodologies to initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and close projects.
• Define project scope and schedule, breaking down large projects into manageable sequences that enable the team to complete tasks efficiently.
• Lead planning, coordination, customer engagement, budgeting, and execution of large-scale and complex projects similar in nature and complexity to the work outlined in the PWS.
• Supervise substantial IT operations, including user systems, integration, deployment, and training across diverse environments and personnel skill levels.
  

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in supporting Information Technology as a Project Manager.
• Strong technical understanding of Information Technology, Identity and Access Management, and AWS GovCloud systems
• Proficient in project management tools, techniques, and frameworks, especially as defined in ITIL Foundation.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Experience managing Agile development teams, with the ability to understand how any enhancement, defect, or request impacts the overall application architecture.
• Ability to obtain a Non-Sensitive / High Risk (Public Trust) Tier 4/6c security clearance.
• Expert knowledge of recent advances in computer science and engineering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior government officials.
• Proven experience executing, monitoring, and managing projects to successful, high-quality, on-budget completion.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with internal service delivery teams, client project teams, external service providers, and subcontractors to understand the current environment, interpret contract requirements, develop and gain approval for project scope, schedule, cost, and quality management plans, and implement technical solutions.
