SUMMARY
Senior Shift Leads are vital mature crew leaders who are driven and excel at motivating and leading others. The Senior Shift Lead is responsible for supervising daily activities of shift leads and bakers during a specific shift and acts in the absence of the General Manager, ensuring operational excellence. A Senior Shift Lead will assist the General Manager in the daily operations of their designated location. Duties include training crew members, assisting with scheduling and staffing, game planning, quality checks, and recruitment and hiring. A Senior Shift Lead must be able to perform all duties and responsibilities of a baker at an advanced level, in addition to their assigned tasks. To be a successful Senior Shift Lead, the employee must have excellent leadership and communication skills and possess a passion for excellence. The Senior Shift Lead should be organized, decisive, attentive, and possess a strong understanding of baking techniques.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist General Manager with supervision of staff on an assigned shift to ensure crew is meeting performance expectations.
• Assist in the training of employees on processes and procedures, ensuring the crew is doing their jobs and fulfilling all responsibilities.
• Write and/or assist with game plan management.
• Assist and/or prepare store schedule to ensure adequate staffing levels, assign positions to all crew members on shift, approve work hours.
• Ensure that the work environment is safe, secure, and healthy; maintain cleanliness of the store.
• Meet deadlines, including but not limited to, submission of cookies and dough to Crumbl Corporate on established days and times.
• Ensure great customer service at all levels, resolve conflicts or complaints from customers and employees, take client information and ensure that orders deliveries are fulfilled accurately and on time.
• Take all phone calls and ensure proper phone etiquette.
• Keep appropriate levels of cookies in warmer and ensure adequate stocking and inventory levels.
• Provide superior customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, making recommendations, accepting orders and payment.
• Read, understand, and execute recipes; make dough by measuring and combining ingredients using mixers, blenders, heat sources, scales, and other kitchen equipment.
• Ball dough and decorate using frosting, glazes, fillings, and other toppings to enhance item presentation and display finished product.
• Perform tests and quality checks on ingredients and finished products, to ensure each item meets food safety and quality controls.
• Maintain proper storage and quality control of food products, ensuring ingredients have not expired and are within established corporate guidelines.
• Work quickly while accurately following a recipe.
• Work with a team to accurately complete tasks.
• Clean and restock the workstation and ensure all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift.
• Keep records relating to orders, deliveries, inventory, and production levels.
• Ensure adequate levels of finished goods and boxes to fill orders.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Leadership experience, considerable knowledge of Crumbl mixing and baking processes and ingredient usage and demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating others.
• Willingness to work around customer demands including early morning, evening, weekend, and holidays as needed to ensure store is properly training and staffed for optimal operational performance.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills with commitment to excellence and high standards; energy, focus, and speed are necessary for success in this role.

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supervises and oversees the duties of crew members during a specific shift, ensures all crew members are keeping up with their duties and provide assistance if necessary.
• Acts in absence of the General Manager.
WORKING CONDITIONS
• Employee is subject to inside environmental conditions with exposure to excessive heat and noise levels associated with a hectic kitchen environment.
• Employee is subject to prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Work is performed using standard kitchen equipment including but not limited to mixers, blenders, ovens, and scales and point-of-sale terminals.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Must be able to perform the basic life operational skills of climbing, stooping, bending, twisting, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, handling, grasping, talking, hearing and repetitive motions.
• Work is generally heavy work requiring employee to frequently lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
• Employee is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned, operate a computer terminal, perform extensive reading, and use measurement devices. Hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels.
• Employees must use personal protective equipment as required as well as the Crumbl issued uniform.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
• Possession of Food Handlers Certificate, or ability to obtain prior to hire.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Age 18 or older.
