Now Hiring: Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js + AWS)
Location: Europe (Remote)
Contract Type: B2B

What Youll Do:

• Build and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems using Node.js and TypeScript
• Design and optimize RDBMS database architectures within an AWS environment (Aurora RDS)
• Develop and maintain serverless solutions using AWS Lambda , Step Functions, SQS, SNS, SES, and S3
• Monitor and improve system performance using CloudWatch , X-Ray , and best practices
• Apply AWS Security best practices across infrastructure and services
• Support containerization using Docker
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, with optional use of Selenium and Jest
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to a mature TypeScript environment (monorepos, npm, Webpack, Babel, ESLint)
• Optionally support front-end work in a React/TypeScript ecosystem

About You:

• 7+ years of backend engineering experience in production environments
• Strong expertise in Node.js and TypeScript
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (or equivalent hands-on expertise)
• Deep understanding of AWS Serverless Architecture and related services
• Strong knowledge of SQL database design , optimization, and performance tuning in AWS
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker
• Clear understanding of cloud security best practices
• Excellent communication skills and ownership mindset
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code
• Exposure to frontend development (React, Sass)
• Experience with automated testing (Selenium, Jest)
• Familiarity with large-scale TypeScript monorepos
