vArida-Tech Inc. is seeking a local contract CT Technologist for a local contract job in Gainesville, Florida.

CT Tech

Available Shifts:
· Evenings 7-10 HRS/Weekends Only
· Mixed >10 HRS/Rotating Weekends
· Days > 10 HRS/Weekends Only
· Nights > 10 HRS/ Rotating Weekends

Hospital is a 523-bed, full-service medical and surgical acute care center. For over 49 years, we have served North Central Florida. We offer comprehensive cardiovascular care, oncology, orthopedics, and neurosciences. We offer minimally-invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery, weight loss surgery and treatment. Our hospital has an Accredited Chest Pain Center by ACC (American College of Cardiology) and is designated as a Blue Distinction Center for Spine Surgery and Bariatric Surgery. Job Summary and Qualifications:

Under the direction of the Radiologist, performs Radiology and Cat Scan procedures at a technical level requiring no constant supervision of technical detail. Perform a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation. Assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures required. Recognizes the purpose employment is to prioritize the patient as number one, and to put forth the utmost quality as a Technologist. Perform examinations on patients of various ages from neonate to geriatric.

Qualifications:
· One year of CT experience preferred. Candidates DO NOT need to have acute care experience.
· Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
· Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R) & (CT) registry preferred
· Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist
· Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology School
