Job Summary:
The HR Business Partner will act as a key strategic advisor to business leaders and employees, focusing on driving human capital initiatives that support the overall business strategy. You will collaborate closely with management to align talent solutions with business needs, while ensuring employee engagement, development, and organizational growth. The HRBP will work across various functions to foster a positive work environment and support organizational culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Partnership
- Partner with business leaders to understand their goals and challenges, and develop HR strategies that align with the business objectives.
- Drive workforce planning, succession planning, and talent management strategies to build a high-performing organization.
- Provide guidance on organizational design, change management, and team dynamics to ensure effective structures and processes.
- Employee Relations and Engagement
- Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters, providing coaching and conflict resolution when necessary.
- Foster a positive workplace culture by promoting employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and feedback mechanisms.
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts to ensure an inclusive environment for all employees.
- Performance Management and Development
- Guide managers through performance reviews, goal setting, and talent development plans.
- Collaborate with L&D teams to implement training and development programs that support career growth and employee potential.
- Address performance issues through coaching, feedback, and disciplinary action when required.
- Talent Acquisition and Retention
- Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to identify staffing needs, interview candidates, and make hiring recommendations.
- Support onboarding processes to ensure new hires integrate successfully into the organization.
- Analyze retention data and recommend strategies to improve employee satisfaction and reduce turnover.
- HR Metrics and Reporting
- Monitor key HR metrics, such as employee engagement, turnover, and performance data, to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Provide data-driven insights to senior management to inform decision-making and drive HR initiatives.
- Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct investigations related to employee complaints or workplace issues, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Manage risk by addressing sensitive employee matters with discretion and confidentiality.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in an HR business partner or similar role.
- Strong understanding of HR practices, including employee relations, talent management, and organizational development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- 3 year(s) of human resources experience required.
- 2 years of Payroll Administration experience required.
- Human Resource Information System (HRIS) experience required.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or relevant field preferred.
- General knowledge of EEO, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, Cobra, OSHA, Workers Compensation, DOL, and other federal and state laws and regulations preferred.
- HIPPA experience preferred.
- HRCI and/or SHRM certification is a plus.
