We are seeking a reliable and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery, such as excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, loaders, and graders, to assist with construction, excavation, and site preparation projects.
Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance on equipment.
Follow site plans, grade specifications, and supervisor directions.
Load and unload equipment from trailers or transport vehicles.
Adhere to safety standards and company policies at all times.
Communicate effectively with team members and site supervisors.
Maintain accurate logs of work completed and equipment usage.
Proven experience as a heavy equipment operator.
Valid certification or license to operate heavy machinery (if required by state/local laws).
Ability to read plans, drawings, or grade stakes (as needed).
Strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift/move heavy materials.
Attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
OSHA certification or training.
