Assistant Client Manager - Assist Firm Owner with client care and tax work. Includes advisory, tax prep, client communications, and calculations of tax payments.

Work closely with Firm Owner - be exposed to many aspects of the tax industry. Grow, learn, expand.

Experience: 4+ years of client care and tax experience.

Training: In-depth training provided and potential for career development.

Hours: Part-time position. Flexibility during Firm hours of operation: Monday through Friday, 8am - 6pm. Any deviation from the committed schedule should be pre-arranged with the Senior Client Manager or CEO.

Job Summary:

As the Assistant Client Manager / Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the clients (tax and accounting), with a focus on ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of tax returns, financial statements, and reporting. Additionally, you will be answering all incoming calls, web contact forms, portal messages, and emails. You will be part of the client-facing team that handles communications for the firm.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Looks after clients.

• Assist in production - Complete bookkeeping/tax returns.

• Manage communications.

• Build and manage client relationships.

• Respond quickly to client and prospect communications.

• Accompany the Senior Client Manager in some sales meetings to recap the meeting.

• Address client queries.

• Good interpersonal skills and ability to get along with a wide range of people.

• Connect with clients.

• Connect with the team.

• Learn how to manage clients and team members from the Senior Client Manager or CEO.

• Assist in staffing decisions, provide employee performance feedback, and, if necessary, participate in the removal of staff.

• Demonstrate delegation skills.

• Demonstrate leadership skills.

• Learn how to conduct sales meetings.

• Gain tax, technical, or product knowledge from the Team Leader.

• Manage a small and growing portfolio of fees.

• Upsell and cross-sell products.

• Receive coaching and mentoring from the Senior Client Manager and Team Leader.
