Job Overview: A reputable law firm is seeking an experienced eDiscovery Attorney to join its team. This role requires expertise in all aspects of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) and the ability to manage multiple projects in a high-pressure environment. This position is not on the partnership track, and candidates must be admitted to the Bar in the jurisdiction they are applying to. Location: Washington, DC Duties: Handle eDiscovery work on complex litigation matters. Supervise and coordinate project execution to ensure timelines, budgets, and standards are met. Draft and negotiate discovery-related protocols, orders, and agreements. Act as the primary point of contact with the case team, including partners, and clients regarding eDiscovery project execution and implementation. Coordinate with case teams, clients, and vendors on data identification and collection. Prepare budgets and estimates for review projects, manage monthly revenue forecasting, and oversee invoice review. Create and manage document review workflows, including the quality control process. Oversee the preparation of document productions. Provide guidance and training to review attorneys to enhance work product and performance. Maintain a positive and collaborative team environment. Requirements: Juris Doctor (JD) or LL.M. Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction in which applying. 3-5 years of experience in eDiscovery, with experience in a law firm, government, or corporate setting. Ability to manage multiple projects and work well under pressure. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Education: Juris Doctor (JD) or LL.M. from an accredited law school. Certifications: Admission to the state bar in the jurisdiction where applying. Skills: Strong analytical and writing skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Good business judgment and ability to work both collaboratively and independently. Demonstrated leadership and management skills. Ability to think conceptually and influence others. Strong research and problem-solving abilities. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
