The Opportunity

As the Commercial Insurance Manager, you’ll oversee a growing team, drive performance, and ensure client satisfaction. You’ll play a key role in leading the commercial insurance division and ensuring the company’s continued success in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the commercial insurance team, ensuring all goals and service standards are met.
  • Develop and guide team members, helping them grow professionally and achieve personal and departmental targets.
  • Manage the department’s client accounts and ensure smooth renewal processes.
  • Troubleshoot complex client issues and ensure timely resolution to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Identify new business opportunities and contribute to business development strategies.
  • Track and report on team performance, providing insights and progress updates to leadership.

What You Bring to the Table

  • At least 5 years of experience in commercial insurance, including 1–2 years in a leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of commercial insurance products, underwriting processes, and regulatory standards.
  • Active P&C insurance license required; additional certifications in commercial lines are a plus.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team of professionals to exceed goals.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
  • A detail-oriented approach with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly desirable.
