We're seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Full-Time Medical Biller/Account Manager to join our dynamic Montana team. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from your home office, with occasional travel to beautiful Kalispell, MT.

Your Role:

As a Medical Biller/Account Manager, you'll be the vital link between our revenue cycle management services and our valued medical practice partners. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and efficiency of multiple practices by:

Overseeing Revenue Cycle Performance: Managing and monitoring the revenue and medical billing procedures for assigned medical practices, ensuring adherence to our company's established standards.
Building Strong Client Relationships: Serving as the primary point of contact, fostering strong relationships with our partner medical practices.
Driving Performance Through Data: Accurately reporting and analyzing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and ensure performance goals are met or exceeded.
Ensuring Revenue Cycle Accuracy: Contributing to the accuracy and timeliness of the revenue cycle for each clinic on your team, from charge entry to payment posting.
Collaborating Effectively: Functioning as a collaborative team member, communicating professionally and effectively with clients and colleagues.
Mastering the Revenue Cycle: Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding and proficiency in all aspects of the revenue cycle, including daily charge entry, charge scrubbing, insurance and patient accounts receivable, and payment posting.
Key Responsibilities (May Vary):

Accurate and timely creation and submission of medical claims, ensuring correct coding.
Daily submission of claim batches to insurance providers.
Regularly performing claim status audits for each assigned clinic.
Proactively managing and resolving insurance denials and following up on outstanding claims.
Developing and analyzing KPIs to assess clinic revenue performance and identify trends.
Verifying and resolving clearinghouse rejections and ensuring successful claim batch uploads.
Promptly responding to all client communications, including messages, telephone encounters, emails, and other inquiries.
Generating and analyzing comprehensive month-end reports, including standard and specialized reports.
Qualifications:

Education: Certifications or degrees in medical billing and/or medical coding are highly preferred.
Experience: 1-3 years of proven experience in medical billing and coding. Experience with eClinicalWorks is a strong plus. Previous experience in medical practice or account management is highly desirable.
Skills:
Solid understanding of medical billing and coding principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and electronic medical records (EMR) software.
Exceptional multitasking and time management skills.
Outstanding customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Comprehensive knowledge of the revenue cycle process.
Typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute.
