Compensation: $12-$18 per hour

Position Summary:

Emerald Art Glass, a premier glass art company in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with our CPA for taxes and reports. This position also entails creating proposals, invoicing, answering phones, assisting with customer orders, and handling various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Record and categorize financial transactions
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Track expenses and assist with budgeting
• Prepare simple monthly financial reports
• Maintain accuracy of the general ledger
• Coordinate with our CPA for taxes and reports
• Create proposals and invoices
• Answer phones and assist with customer orders
• Perform various administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Experience in bookkeeping or accounting
• Proficiency in QuickBooks
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and organized
• Ability to work independently
• Comfortable handling small business financial tasks
• Honest with the ability to handle confidential information
